Starting my first project with Raspberry Pi

I had started this site right before Covid started with the plan of working on various projects and making blog posts about them. Covid hit, and I got super busy and ended up putting those plans on hold. Nine months later, I’m starting to look at fun projects to play around with.

So here is a preview of the new project I plan to work on. The plan is to start with a Raspberry pi, the Camera Module, and a PIR Motion Sensor, and build something that takes pictures when it senses movement, and then connects with Amazon Rekognition to detect what in the image. 

That at least my starting point for this new project. As I start getting used to the Raspberry Pi and some of the AWS services, I will probably expand it.
